hi, i'm lindsay
artist, dreamer, coffee lover.
Lindsay Spinks is the artist and founder behind Petite Printz®, a watercolor brand built around the idea that life's smallest moments are often the most meaningful.
Petite Printz first began in 2016 as a passion project fueled by Lindsay's fascination with miniature art. There was something magical about seeing how much detail, personality, and emotion could exist within just a few inches of paper. After a period of stepping back in 2020, Petite Printz was thoughtfully rebuilt and reimagined following her move from New York to the South Carolina Lowcountry, where the change of scenery and slower pace felt like a breath of fresh air in a new atmosphere, sparking an entirely new chapter for the brand.
With a background in Visual Communication and years of experience as a Creative Director, Lindsay has always believed that every piece of art should tell a story. While her professional career shaped the way she approaches composition, color, and design, watercolor became the medium that allowed her to slow down and appreciate the beauty found in everyday life.

Lindsay's greatest artistic passion is realism in miniature. She loves the challenge of capturing the personality of a place, a home, or a memory with delicate brushstrokes inside such a tiny space. It's a constant reminder that art doesn't have to be large to make someone stop, smile, or remember a special moment.
Her style has evolved over many years into something distinctly her own; a blend of delicate realism, clean composition, and soft watercolor textures. Along the way, she's found inspiration in the incredible community of miniature artists who continue to push the boundaries of what's possible at such a small scale, as well as the timeless charm and character of vintage illustrations and classic cartoons. Those influences inspire the feeling behind her work, while every painting remains uniquely her own.
Today, Petite Printz has grown beyond original watercolor paintings to include custom commissions, fine art prints, handcrafted gifts, and interactive workshops throughout the Lowcountry. Whether she's painting a beloved family home, a favorite local coffee shop, or helping someone create their very first watercolor, Lindsay hopes each piece brings a little more beauty, nostalgia, and joy into everyday life.
When she's not painting, you'll usually find her wandering local bookstores and cafés, exploring farmers markets, dreaming up new workshop ideas, reading mystery novels, or spending time with her husband and their dog, Maverick. Her painting sessions almost always include a cup of coffee and the timeless music of Jerry Vale playing in the background.
Thank you for supporting handmade art and for being part of the
Petite Printz story.
