Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Petite Printz painting?

Petite Printz are tiny, hand-painted watercolor artworks, each created with care and intention. Every piece is an original painting, finished and framed to be a keepsake meant to be cherished for years.

Commissions & Custom Artwork

How do commissioned paintings work?

To request a custom Petite Printz, simply complete the commission form and submit payment. Once your order is confirmed, I’ll begin painting your piece, carefully finish it, frame it, and prepare it for shipping.

Do you require payment upfront?

Yes. Full payment is required before work begins on all commissioned pieces. Because each artwork is created specifically for you, commissions are final sale once started.

What can you paint?

I love painting:

  • Homes and house portraits

  • Storefronts, coffee shops, and landmarks

  • Meaningful objects or still lifes

  • Flowers, pets, and sentimental details If you’re unsure whether your idea is a good fit, feel free to describe it in the commission form.

Can you paint people?
Yes, I can include people in your Petite Printz! Because each painting is very small, I generally keep figures simple and do not include detailed facial features. This helps ensure the painting feels charming and accurate rather than overly stylized or misrepresenting someone’s likeness.

How long does a commission take?

Most commissioned originals are completed within 1–3 weeks, depending on my current queue and the complexity of your piece. If you need your artwork by a certain date, please include that in your order notes and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Can I request changes?

One small round of tweaks (such as color adjustments or tiny detail changes) is included before framing. Major revisions or additional changes may require an added fee.

Artwork Details & Frames

How big are the paintings?

Each original painting is about the size of a quarter and comes framed in a 4×4 inch frame; perfect for desks, shelves, and gallery walls.

Will the colors match my photo exactly?

Watercolor is a hand-painted medium, so each piece has its own unique charm and artistic interpretation. Colors may vary slightly due to artistic style and differences in screen displays.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Prints and in-stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days.

Original commissioned artwork ships once completed (usually within 1–3 weeks). Shipping times vary by location and shipping method.

How are originals shipped?

Original artwork is shipped via USPS Priority Mail for added protection and tracking. Prints are shipped via USPS First Class Mail. All orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival.

Do you offer local pickup?

If you’re local to Bluffton or the surrounding Lowcountry area, you may request local pickup. Please note this in your order and I’ll coordinate details with you.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Can I return a commissioned piece?

Because commissions are custom-made specifically for you, they are final sale and non-refundable once work has begun.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

If your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and I’ll work with you to find a solution.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellations are not available once work has started. If you need to cancel immediately after ordering, please contact me as soon as possible.
